You’ll notice Tim holds an “APA Titled” qualification alongside his general physiotherapy registration — this reflects additional postgraduate study and clinical experience recognised by the Australian College of Physiotherapists in a specific area of practice, on top of the standard registration every physiotherapist holds.

Tim Castles
CLINICAL DIRECTOR & SENIOR PHYSIOTHERAPIST
M.SportsPhysio, B.Sc (Ex and Health Science) · APA Titled Sport and Exercise Physiotherapist
Tim is the Clinical Director and Senior Physiotherapist here at On Form Physiotherapy. His studies include a Masters of Sports Physiotherapy from La Trobe University, alongside a qualification in Exercise & Sports Science from UWA. He gained exposure with AFLW and A-League teams as part of his studies, seeing first-hand how elite programs operate.
He brings extensive experience in high-performance sport, both as an athlete and a physiotherapist. With almost a decade as a WAIS scholarship holder in their Sailing squad, he experienced first-hand the uncertainty that comes with managing injury and performance, as well as the satisfaction of achieving results at an international level. Now that his focus has shifted from athlete to physiotherapist, he draws on that experience to support the next generation of athletes navigating the same path.
These days, Tim’s competitive streak comes out through local road cycling racing — where a good day out means not getting dropped by the peloton.

Lizzie Higgin
PHYSIOTHERAPIST
B.Sc (Physio) First Class Hons
Currently on Maternity LeaveLizzie is an experienced and dedicated Physiotherapist at On Form Physiotherapy. She holds a Bachelor of Science with First Class Honours from the University of East London, where she was recognised with the Ian Ramsden Memorial Prize for Outstanding Contribution — a university-wide award for students who make an exceptional contribution to the university community.
Studying in London gave Lizzie the opportunity to gain practical experience in elite performance settings, including the English National Ballet and the Major Trauma centre at The Royal London Hospital. After graduating, she began her career within the NHS specialising in respiratory physiotherapy, building professional connections that led her to work with the London Irish Wild Geese, an amateur rugby team affiliated with London Irish RFC.
Since then, Lizzie has continued developing her clinical expertise in private practice, with a strong reputation for her holistic, patient-centred approach. She’s passionate about helping people work toward their personal goals — whether that’s returning to sport, improving mobility, or managing a long-term condition — and takes the time to understand the person as a whole, not just their symptoms.
As a mother of one herself, Lizzie understands the realities of balancing personal and family commitments, and builds practical plans that work around your everyday demands.
