Recover harder. Perform better.
Expert sports massage with Steph from Athletes Edge — working from our Yangebup clinic and booking directly through On Form's shared system.
Massage built around how your body actually moves
Sports massage targets the muscle groups and movement patterns specific to your training — not just general tension. Whether you're working through a heavy training block, managing a niggle, or trying to find more range in a tight spot, the work is tailored to what your body is doing.
It combines deep tissue techniques, trigger point work, and myofascial release to address the areas that are holding you back. Firmer than a relaxation massage, and far more specific.
At On Form, Steph works alongside our physiotherapy team — which means if something more complex comes up, you're already in the right place.
What sports massage can help with
Whether you're training, competing, or just trying to move better — targeted soft tissue work supports the whole picture.
Faster recovery between sessions
Helps clear metabolic waste, reduce post-exercise soreness, and get you ready for your next training load sooner.
Improved range of movement
Works into the restrictions that stretch alone won't shift — particularly useful in chronically tight areas like hips, thoracic spine, and calves.
Reduced injury risk
Identifying and releasing muscle imbalances and tension patterns before they become something that sidelines you.
Better tissue quality
Regular soft tissue work can reduce the accumulation of scar tissue and adhesions that build up with repeated training loads.
Nervous system reset
Downregulates the stress response in overworked muscles, which is especially valuable during peak training or competition phases.
Pre-event preparation
Targeted activation work to warm up key muscle groups and improve neuromuscular readiness before competition or a big session.
Meet Steph
Steph is the founder of Athletes Edge and our resident sports massage therapist at the Yangebup clinic. She works with athletes and active people across all levels — from weekend runners and cyclists to competitive club athletes managing heavy training loads.
Her approach is grounded in understanding how sport actually feels in the body: where the load accumulates, what tightens up under fatigue, and what needs attention to keep you moving well.
Steph works from the On Form clinic several days per week. She's part of our shared booking system, so arranging an appointment is straightforward — and if anything flags that needs a physio assessment, the conversation is a short one.

If your body carries a training load, you'll get something from this
Sports massage isn't just for elite athletes. It's for anyone who asks a lot of their body on a regular basis.
- Runners managing recurring tightness in calves, ITB, or hip flexors
- Cyclists with thoracic or hip restrictions from sustained position demands
- Triathletes carrying cumulative fatigue across multiple disciplines
- Gym athletes with shoulder, pec, or hip capsule restrictions limiting technique
- Team sport athletes dealing with load spikes around competition
- Anyone who's trained consistently for years and has soft tissue that shows it
Massage and physio, in the same building
One of the advantages of Steph working from our clinic is that massage and physiotherapy aren't siloed. If what's showing up in your soft tissue points to a biomechanical issue, a loading problem, or something that needs further assessment — that conversation can happen without a referral or a separate booking.
If you're already seeing one of our physios and want to add regular massage to your plan, we can coordinate care across both.
