Tim Castles

M.SportsPhysio, B.Sc (Ex and Health Science)
APA Titled Sports and Exercise Physiotherapist

Tim is the Clinical Director and Senior Physiotherapist here at On Form Physiotherapy. His studies include a Masters of Sports Physiotherapy from La Trobe University as well as a qualification in Exercise & Sports Science from UWA. He was fortunate enough to gain exposure with AFLW and A-League as a part of his studies, so he’s seen how the best of the best go about it.

He has extensive experience in the high-performance sporting environment, both as an athlete and a physiotherapist. With almost a decade as a WAIS scholarship holder in their highly successful Sailing squad, he has experienced first-hand the uncertainty and worry that comes with managing injury and performance. He has also experienced the highs that come with fulfilment and achievement after devoting a life’s work to producing results at an international level. Now that his focus has shifted from athlete to physiotherapist, he aims to use this experience alongside his expertise to support and mentor the next generation of athletes as they navigate the same pathway.

Whilst his world-class performances are now behind him, Tim still has the competitive fire burning inside of him. He now channels this through local road cycling racing, where a good day out is not being left behind by the peloton.
